Vegetarian Gravy Recipes

Gravy, the natural juices released during cooking, dates back to 14th-century French cuisine. It's typically seasoned and thickened with cream, roux (flour), cornstarch, or water.

In the South, biscuits and gravy are a staple, while in Canada, gravy is commonly served over french fries and cheese curds. In India, paneer butter masala is a popular gravy dish, and in the UK, fish and chips are often served with gravy.

When making gravy, many recipes will say "salt to taste." We recommend using Pink Himalayan or Sea Salt, as they contain essential minerals that regular salt lacks. Remember the S.A.L.T. method for perfect seasoning: Stir, Add half of what you think you need, Let the flavor spread, and Taste to ensure it’s just right.

Below are all the vegetarian gravy recipes.
